Welcome to The Sphere, A Revolutionary VEGAS Venue

Vegas has always been about big and bold, and one new attraction takes it to a whole new level. Welcome to the Sphere in Las Vegas, the stunning architectural wonder that’s changing the face of entertainment in Vegas.

The Biggest Ball in Vegas

Imagine if a giant disco ball landed on the Strip, but instead of reflecting light, it created its own light show. That’s the Sphere — 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, and the largest sphere in the world.

The Sphere’s size isn’t the only thing special about it. For starters, the exterior is covered in 1.2 million LED pucks, making its entire surface a giant, programmable display. At night, it lights up the Vegas skyline with insane visuals you can see for miles. One minute, it’s a giant eyeball; the next, a swirling galaxy; and the next, a massive tennis ball. It’s like someone looked at the entire Vegas Strip and said, “This is fantastic — now, what else can we do?”

Enter the Future of Entertainment

As eye-popping as the Sphere looks on the outside, the real magic happens when you walk through the doors. The interior features 160,000 square feet of LED screen wrapped around a 270-degree field of view. It creates a display so impressive you might forget you’re even inside a building.

The venue’s sound system is just as spectacular, with over 160,000 speakers and cutting-edge audio technology that helps engineers direct crystal-clear sound to specific areas of the audience. And if that wasn’t enough, the Sphere’s 10,000 seats are equipped with haptic technology that transmits vibration and motion. That means you won’t just see and hear the show; you’ll feel it, too. 4D effects like wind and temperature changes — and even scents — give you a one-of-a-kind experience that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

What’s On at the Sphere?

What is there to see and do at the Sphere? The short answer is “everything.” The venue opened in September 2023 with a 40-show residency from U2, and live music is just the beginning. The Sphere also has plans to host award shows that’ll make you feel like you’re in the room, sporting events like boxing and MMA matches, esports tournaments on the biggest screen ever, and even film premieres.

Touring the Sphere

The Sphere Experience lets you get up close and personal so you can visit any time, even when there’s not a big event.

You’ll start in the futuristic atrium, where you’ll meet Aura, the world’s most advanced humanoid robot. You’ll see mind-bending visual displays, interactive sound demos, and AI-generated art along the way.

The Sphere Experience ends with a showing of Aronofsky’s “Postcard from Earth” in the main venue so you can see the full majesty of the venue. This 50-minute film by director Darren Aronofsky is a must-see movie that you’ll simply get lost in — and one that makes the most of the Sphere’s unique capabilities to showcase the planet we call home.

Entertainment Has Never Looked So Good

Looking for a mind-blowing experience in Vegas? The Sphere has got you covered, whether you’re a music fan, a tech geek, or just someone who loves a good show. People come from across the world to see it — because it’s not just a venue; it’s a destination in its own right, and it will change how we think about live events and immersion. Without exaggeration, the Sphere will take you to new worlds of entertainment… All while staying on the Strip.
